Nice looking tank, and only $180.00. I'm going to put my order in soon. Is that the White color or the natual color tank?
Thanks

I think for the extra 50+ miles before I hit reserve I won't mind the gap to muchI got the factory 2nd so the $50 deduction made it a little better on the wallet[]It might look better with the lip cut off the shroud the one that goes under the seat or just live with it.....

According to Patrick's calculations you get a full extra gallon before needing reserve, however that reserve is about half the size of stock. If you went Kawi green or the black I don't think the gap would be as noticeable as with white or natural.

Geez Patrick, how many KLX's do you have?!

I expect my new tank in early next week. I ordered it in black. On my bike, with the mods I've made, I don't think that little gap is going to be a concern! And in the Colorado Rockies, where I'll be riding this month, all extra fuel will be handy..I'm going to take my 1 qt. fuel bottle in the tailbag, also, because it's realeasy to be 50 miles from getting anyfuel. Spend a morning riding..then have to head out just to refuel..nah.

I have had good luck with spray paint for plastic I have painted some plastic cans with good results So the area where the gap is could be painted black if it bothers you Just a suggestion
