Default Just got my clarke tank

The big brown truck dropped off a box from clarke today. It was packed well and had great instructions. It is WAY lighter than the stocker and all of the silly vent lines are eliminated. The stock fittings that screw into the bottom of the steel tank are reused and the petcock mounting and petcock stays the same.

The shrouds do have a little bit of a gap in the seat area but that seems to be the only visual distraction. Overall this seems to be the best tank option with a no hassle install (About 15min) with no mods at all. I will post some pics in the morning when I do a volume test. They claim 2.7 gallons or more...so we will see. Anyone wanna place bets!

Ill get to the pics....its dark out. Wellhere it is.... 10110 ml or 2.66 gallons.

I used my wifes pyrex and 2 other measuring cups. I filled them up to 1000ml and then transfered them to the next to verify and a third just to triple check. dumped them out and did it again until the tank was empty.I did this with 3 full tanks all fell within 10ml.

You will have 9110ml (2.4 gal) until reserve and a even 1000 (.264 galtill empty. Now they did tell me this was one of the first tanks made and it was real thick. All of the ones that go out for production with be a little thinner. Mine is almost 1/4" thick so I can see the volume increasing to 2.7+.

Disclaimer: This is a picture to simulate the delivery of the Clarke tank. Yes, I know there are butterflies in the box.
