Just got back from the ER.. Good time out on the ice today! (vids)
I have been down plenty of times on my KLX and the only thing that really happened was a broken little finger. Riding on or off road you always have to be mentally alert and ready for the unexpected. I raced for over 5 years and even made it to Loretta Lynns where someone was killed in the pits. In all my racing career, I was never hurt. I was run over, hit trees, flipped, hit head on with another rider but still was always able to walk away. I was a kid then but still feel the same now but these KLX's are much heavier and can easily hurt you. Always be alert of what is around the next corner as you never know what can and will happen to you.

I couldn't even watch the vid of the doc...lol It's weird I can hurt myself and it doesn't bother me at all, but watching someone else in pain just turns my stomach inside out. Hope you heal up fast.
I have reset several sholders at the track. I did it right after the crash while the rider is still on the ground. I put my foot in their side and snapped them back in place before swelling starts. All have had good out comes. I popped my own back in place by grabbing the bed of a pick-up and gerking and yelling and crying a lot.

yup yup, or before the popcorn gallery sets in. Pop it hard and fast(just an expression) Good to see you back on track
Hahaa.. that's awesome Shifter.. I attempted it while laying on the ice but it just hurt more.. I wasn't even 100% sure that that was my problem - never had that happen before. After I couldn't get it back in I felt I should just stop and leave it to the pros... Now I know how to do it if it ever happens again!
Now the question is - when will my damn shoulder stop hurting!!
It's 40°+ and sunny today and I can't go for a ride
I guess it's still better happening now than happening in the spring time. Still sucks though
