Default Just found the ultimate Jet comparison chart...

FAQ Mikuni vs keihin vs dynojet

Looks like I found what I need, a "130 main".... keihin 140 is equivalent to DJ 130...

this might be helpful to some

A start if your changing carbs, or getting in the ballpark. But not really an accurate cross from my experience tuning a few different bikes. Best to tune up and down with one style.

Indeed I see the value in staying with one brand of jets, and as is mentioned on the website it is not an exact cross reference. Perhaps I should have ordered a DJ 130 main, but I was led to believe it wasn't readily available, and it wasnt included in the KLX250sf DJ kit... If the Keihin 140 isnt a happy split between a DJ 128 and a DJ 132 I guess I'll have to just quit life and lament the loss of 4 dollars plus shipping :P

This is all a really interesting learning experience for me, and TBH I'de rather try new stuff that hasn't been done before and fail then stick with the quo and wonder what I'm missing. Some folks say don't even bother buying the DJ kit and end up ordering OEM jets and using their brain and skill set to jet the bike properly. Im pretty much undoing the fine work the local shop did by installing a DJ kit and subscribing to the school of cheap tech experiments... The bike ran fine with the recommended 128 DJ main and the all the settings they suggest... If for some reason I cant stand the monster I've created I'll just put it back the way it came-

2 spliffs a beer and some fluorescent lighting and that carby sails right out of the frame :P

If I have a friend there to distract me and talk about his KTM690 I can have it out in 10 mins flat :P

There are several of those charts online that don't exactly size up the same as the one from jets r us. Some based on measured hole diameter, some from some kind of noted baseline assuming dj stage one is same as stock (which is a big assumption). Bottom is line you just have to rejet and test. fwiw In the Keihin small rounds, in the size range used on this bike, I've found the dj numbering pretty close to the Kehien. Guess the 140-K will be too rich for ya. hope I'm wrong and it works out.
