Alot of us don't believe the handle bars are hollow either. could you saw them in half for us?[8D]

You should check in the "inlet" pipe that dumps into the first chamber of the muffler--that is where it would be. Try fishing something from the headpipe connection into that first big chamber & see if you hit something.It would be a honey comb type structure inside that pipe, probably only an inch thick or so.

Glad the muffler arrived safely.

OK, here it is, all opened up. I can see inside the inner tube, even with a mirror, and there's actually a baffle inside, with a plate that runs down the length of it. Not restricted though. It is the same diameter as the pipe. Should have it all welded back together with a nice outlet saturday along with a bigger jet.

Because, like I said, I cannot afford it right now. Besides, I'd rather not eat for a week and loose 30 lbs, than spend that much to save weight.
