They ie the muffler shop should have tig'd the end back on for a cleaner look.

Congrats on getting things sorted out.

Looks great for the do it yourselfer and is better than stock i'm sure.Got to love the ingenuity when we don't want to spend $$$$

If you don't rejet it will run terrible and also cause engine damage from running too lean.

Did you know running the bike lean actually puts out higher emissions compared to running rich?

Looks a lot better now than it did a few photos back. Are you an emergency room doctor in real life? 'Cause I could've sworn your pipe suffered cardiac arrest, cracked the chest cavity, CLEAR!, flat-lined, and rigormortis had set in. But look at it now ... it's all stitched together, is up and about and better than ever.

okay, knowing what's inside there now...what would be the easiest way to achieve the end result?..possibly cut the end off the pipe and run a 1 1/2-inch hole saw straight down to where the muffler bends?....then weld a new end cap on?...hmmmmm you may be onto something good here...$400 for a new muffler/mid pipe or $20 to ream out the original
