Yeah, that's a good ways east of me. I'd love to hook up some time and ride, though. But right now, I'm out of commission due to a broken collar bone, and I'm itching to get back on the bike, but it will still be a few more weeks before that happens.
Man I feel for you Brian, I hope I never get hurt and can't ride, I mean my bike is in the shop and I'm heading in Tuesday to pick it up, its been a week and a few days, and I'm going crazy. Its a good thing I have the wife's bike to give me my daily fix. Hang in there and when you get to riding again, ride with the thought in mind of not being able to ride for a few weeks, it's amazing how much more careful you are and what chances you won't take. Get better and stay safe.
Thanks buddy! And yes, I'm going to be more careful for sure. I also bought one of those chest protectors that have some shoulder armor. I don't know if it would have helped in my situation or not, but it surely couldn't have hurt.
Yea like Todd and Marty always say, ATGATT (All The Gear All The Time) I still need to get a regular pair of good boots, my motocross boots are just not really street and work friendly. Don't ride until your ready, you don't want to push it too soon.
