Default Iridium Plug Misfiring?

Okay, the bike has been running great since I put the NGK Iridium plug in but yesterday was the first time in a month I went into sixth-gear. The engine feels like it is loosing power and the plug isn't firing right. At 60 miles and hour it feels like it is firing on every other stroke. What do you think?

Funny you mention this I had a similar problem with my bike over the weekend.
I made a 600 miles roundtrip to Southern Utah 75% street 25% dirt and after prolonged periods at 60+ MPH it started feeling like it was getting a lean miss, it got bad enough that I cleaned my (already fairly clean) air filter when I arrived at my destination; on the way back I wound up pulling the fuel line in a gas station parking lot in Minersville Utah so I could inspect the tiny little fuel filter which was perfectly clean, so I pulled the plug as well, the gap was dead on and the plug looked OK although maybe slightly lean.

I currently have about 1,800 miles on the Iridium NGK and I don't think that it is my problem, I think that I'm too lean near WOT, I'll put in the next size larger main jet and see what happens.

I've noticed that with the stock cr8e (replaced this summer) and 6000 miles that if every now and then I give it a prolonged full throttle run in top gear, say a mile or so, that it runs very smooth later on. I've got 13/42 gearing so I end up around 9000+or- rpm and 85 mph.
