Default Installed a fuel filter today.

Well most of the newer memebers might not know but from what i understand there isnt a fuel filter on our bike. So while i was at the dealer buying the 2 year extended warranty for $296.80 ( the dealer was 40$ cheaper than the paper i got from kawi in the mail). I was lookin around and he had inline fuel filters so i picked one up, and installed it today. I also did the carb vent mod, Thanks Deej! Here is a few pics of the fuel filter.

Although they probably won't filter as well as your add on unit, the KLX 250/300 non S models have filter screens on the petcock that must be inspected and cleaned periodically. Many people forget about them. I don't know if the S models have them or not.

Looks great man! I think I like the front faceplate better without the plastic, also.

Ok, gang. There is a filter in the plastic tube that enters the carb.

I think I used an o-ring pick. The filter is a conical shaped plastic mesh, be careful.
