Hey Oz
Isn't the clarke tank a 2.7 gallon tank? If so is it 2.7 us or imperial gallons?

Yeah! My bad! 2.7 US Gallons. Pretty happy with the fuel consumption given the sandy terrain. Recon' 300 km+ per tank with a 14/45 setup and more mixed terrain.

Yes great mileage!! just under 22 km per liter, sand will eat the fuel. I am still running my bike on the fourth notch so she is pretty rich but starts with no problem and seems to have lots of power. I haven't checked the mileage in a while but I think I am getting around the same as you. When I do the valves I will probably go back to third notch and play with the starter jet. I think I was getting around 330 km or a bit more on a full with Acerbis tank.

to lazy to switch to km but i normally get about 180 miles per tank with the acerbis. put me down for a natural colored perorder. 55mpg x 2.5 gallons im guessing before reserve, about 135 miles per tank, which is plenty unless your in the middle of death valley, then the acerbis is going back on for that. and some sand berms, oh yes please.

This is the inside of the fuel tank EFI KLX model. Inside it is I think the fuel pump.

Yeah, the Fuel Injected model tank will be totally different. Your whole fuel pump assembly with filter and all will bolt onto a big hole in the tank as opposed to the non-FI tank which just has a little tube connector hole. If you want a bigger tank I suspect you will be waiting a long time
