Congratualtions!!!!! Keep the KLX and teach your wife to ride!
I bought my wife a new Yamaha TW200, we're going to try her out on the trails.
This summer promises to be a every weekend affair!

Congrats. Thats a beautiful bike. I can only dream. My friend rides a 525EXC and he just idles around while I scream along behind trying to keep up. lol. Have fun!! Make sure you stick around here though, and dont be scared to post pics. A little orange around here would be nice I think.

Thanks Ginsu! You guys can't get rid of me that easy. Gotrice rides a Buell and they stil let him in
KLXer, the tank is plastic.
I'll be bringing the EXC to NJ assuming there are no objections. Bringing the KLX may not be an option since I hope to have it sold by then. I would love to keep it, but I can't justify two bikes that are so similar in purpose. Next step is to find the KLX a good home. It loves kids and is already house-broken, but it growls a lot and tears up the flower beds.

Oh oh! Green and orange used to go together in the 70's, but not anymore!
No worries, though, that's just a decorating thing ... as long as we're talking about things with 2 wheels, everythings cool!
And, you maybe green at heart, but one thing's for sure: You're definitely still the "Big Bore ***** of P.W.I."!!!
Congrats on the new bike!

I wondered why you put the instruments and ignition back on the KLX. I'm not jealous I know my limitations and the 250 is fine for me but good luck to ya Brian [8D]

Hey Brakes-
Congrats...that bike has had great reviews...I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with it.
I've heard that those bikes are a lot more "flickable", and feel lighter and more nimble than our KLXs. I'd be interested to know your thoughts after you get it out on the trail. You're in the unique position to make a real good comparison!
Good luck with it,
Envious...

congratulations. that is a very nice bike. you don't mess around with your purchases. that's something i like about people. when they say they're gonna buy something they go and do it. i'm lucky the nearest husky dealer that stocks bikes around here is in Illinois and Misery or I'd probably bought a bike last saturday. i hope i got it out of my system though. that bike is in the new Dirt Bike mag. it also won cycle world's best enduro bike with the husky TE450 or 510 winning the best dual sport. i can't remember which one it was but they're both the same bike with the 510 just being a little larger in bore.
