Nobrakes, Is that rim locks I see on the front and back tires? Are they from the factory? If so how did they balance the tires?

It came with one set of rim locks on the front and rear tires. Last weekend I pulled off the rubber, and drilled the rims for a 2nd set of rim locks. I also installed some Bridgestone Ultra-Duty tubes at the same time, man those are thick, about 5mm (1/4 inch) or so. Amazing stuff!

The wheels were not balanced from the factory and in stock form I could feel the front rim-lock unbalancing the front tire at around 50 MPH. That's why I installed the 2nd set which balances them out.

Yeah, also, sorry guys for spamming with the KTM stuff. My KTM friends aren't nearly as cool as you guys, so I'd rather hang out here. Hey, at least I'm just sticking to this one thread and not creating a bunch of new ones.
Hey, don't worry about new posts, you've more than earned your right to post anything you want ... just don't expect intelligent replies from us "non-KaTooMers"!

As far as the rest of us, I don't think we need to worry*. Besides, the posts will be color coded green and orange, just like resistors!

Oh yeah, sorry, I thought that was this thread where the furniture came up, that was the Mikuni thread. They all run together after a while, can't keep things straight.

That's a good one! [sm=icon_rofl.gif]

99% of the time I'm just feeling my way in the dark.

Though I did see a beautiful majestic bald eagle the other day while driving to work, it flew right in front of me at tree-top level - truly awesome. At first it didn't register completely, I looked up saw it gliding by and followed it with my eyes from my truck and though, hey, there's and eagle. Then then it clicked and I thought, HEY, THERE'S AN EAGLE!

Not a common sight around here, let alone over downtown Cary, NC.

I relayed my sighting to the lady at the coffee shop and she informed me that an eagle is a VERY powerful totem and said it could be a sign. She said they represent grand vision, seeing the big picture. Then she looked me up and down with her eyes and did a little thing with her eyebrows.

Ok, the eyebrow thing didn't really happen, but the rest is true.

So maybe I do have a grand plan, and I just don't realize it.

Well I drove down to Atlanta today and I probably saw 4 dead possums and a dead skunk. How about ask your shamen what that says about me. I probably don't want to know.
