I'm impatient
Yup, Thats nasty looking.
I have 1300 miles and most of that is trails. (thats a lot of trails).
My Big Gun looks like new. But mine gets washed and dried as soon as I get back every time.
(I'm kind of **** that way) but not as bad as Deej

OK i think im the one who has the most miles through theBG, i got about3500- 4000k through it... just wait. I dont think i should have to wash and dry my bike every time i ride to keep the pipe nice looking, thats just crazy. I spray it off everytime i come back. Id rather have a SS header thats blue than what i got.

I initiated this thread after reading most of the other threads in this forum. I knew that there was a "pipe war" going on out there which commonly degenerated into personnel attacks and insults. I wondered if my post result in such provocation.
I simply wanted to share my experiences and what went into my decision making process in choosing a pipe for my bike. Hopefully this information might help someone else once they decide to purchase a pipe for their bike. I also hopedthat I had phrased my postas to not start the assualt once again.
This forum obviously has a lot of fine, maturemembers. Therefore,I was disappointed, but not suprised, by some of the recent statements.

www.muzzys.com
Well I have over 1500 miles on my Muzzy and it looks new, and yes its gotten wet, muddy and washed in between. Rust? Hmmmm if anything should rust anywhere it will be here in the pacific northwest, I mean we do get 140 inches a year. And yet the Muzzy still looks new. Oh and the foot peg deal? I took mine to a bench grinder and rounded it off and you can't tell it didn't come from the factory like that. So there.[8D]
