if the wife didnt talk to me when i bought the klx?
Found a good way to replace stock handguards. Stop on semi-soft sand-put down kickstand-get off bike-turn your back for 30 seconds. Bike is on its side with only smashed guard. Oooops. "might as well get something more durable, honey." No need to lie either!
My bike is always tired in the woods, I just let it rest
or use a tree, just can't trust that kick stand
well as luck would have it..........
wife wanted to try and ride the bike. i put her in firts gear and ran along her for a bit and she was fine. stayed in first the whole time thogh. well she got to far a head and when she wantd to stop she dropped the bike. i just kinda walked over calmly and said dang honey you broke my clutch lever...............
guess what i get to buy guilt free lol
whats the best replacement out there

Tucaz.....That gives the green light to some "bark busters". Get any brand with the full aluminum wrap around bar. My Moose bark busters were inexpensive and have taken quite a few hits. You'll have a hard time breaking levers after that. Seems like the stock levers can be had for ~$15
