Changed my wifes 07 xt225 oil at 18 miles because it was a left over and had a uneasy feeling about running it
with the year old oil in it.

Also took the klx to www.highlandparkresort.com to get the new off it, I'd say the new is gone hehe.

We have a level 4 drought here in GA so $500 fine for any outside water usage. It's gonna stay a bit muddy till i can find
a creek near my house that i can run thru a few times.

Yeah my 09 was pretty gross looking on the oil department after 20 miles...I changed the oil in it 3 times already and it has only 300KM on it...the 30CM of snow aint helping any[:@]
Other than that I love the KLX when it gets dirty it just looks badder!
well you will want to disable the stupid kick stand switch before you go creek jumpin.....mine lasted a whole 3 minutes and my bike died and down the muddy hill I slid

ohh ohh EDIT what brand are your Awesome looking hand guards???? I ordered Acerbis Multiplo racing handguards from my dealer and am praying they fit......

 

What tires are those on the '09 and did you put those on or is that what they deliver them with now?

 

The handguards are the Rockymountainatv.com house brand, Tusk handguards. And the fitment is awful. The brake line
rubs the clamp where they attach to the bars. I've got the Cycra triple clamp mounts otw. They should fix the problem.
The tires are dunlop 605 and they are stock.
