A humble question.
Renthal CR High on my bike. Throttle cable gets a lil stuck if I move the handlebar all the way to the left. I still have to re-route it. For clutch, I am using KLX300 clutch cable. It's 2" longer than ours and it has the same fittings. Do a search here and you'll find the part number.
Have you tried flipping the throttle assembly upside down to where the throttle cables are running under the handlebar instead of on top? I did this with my TM36 conversion which necessitated the cable to reach over to the left side of the carb. The design of the OEM throttle housing allows you to run it at any position of rotation that works for you, and it gives you more length/slack when turned upside down. At least it did on my '06.
If you go the custom cable route, Barnett like the clutch parts may be able to take care of you. I put taller (more upright) bars on on a suzuki bandit and they made the cables for me. Between 40-50$$ back before 2000.

My housings don't have any pins anymore either. They clamp tight to the Renthal handlebar I have on my bike with just the screws in the housings...like most dirtbikes have done for many years.
Mine can spin a bit. I'll just layer some tape or rubber to make the bar a bit thicker and call her good. I don't know much about any type of bike, but it's great to know that dirt bikes have run this setup in the past. Sorry if these are stupid questions, I've just never done this before and don't want to mess it up with my backwoods engineering abilities.
