I'll be keeping it until its paid for as I'm on the Kawisaki Good Times credit card. I don't foresee replacing it though, maybe more like complementing it with something else. I've been looking for a decent 2-up bike that my GF can ride with me. I found an 87 KLR 650 for $675 about a mile from the office, only has 14K on it, motor has been rebuilt but the carb lines weren't hooked up correctly and it needs a battery. I talked myself out of it as it could actually have 114K on it, hence the rebuild.

Man I feel for guys that have to drive a long way just to find places to ride, here is a ride report in case you didn't know where I live and it also reminds me what I have. Enjoy. All starting 2 miles from town.

Man do you ever work?? [&:]
Well I work, and I have one of those jobs that I look forward to going to everyday, how rare is that? So I do work, but I do take off Friday and Monday sometimes, and afternoons to go riding, so I guess I work when its convenient, and a lot less since I got the green machine. I'm running out of leave days, I think I'm down to 120 hours, but I have 400 hours of sick leave, hmmmmm I think I'm not feeling good soon No actually I don't use sick leave to have fun, I told my boss 10 years ago that I don't cheat the system and he was like "really?" I guess he was surprised to hear that, but its the way I am. But it does remind of a poster I saw years ago about a boss stopping by a workers house to see how he was feeling and the guy opens the door dressed all in his fishing gear, I tried to find it but to no avail.

This was funny though.

Probably keep it until she dies... I see myself moving up to a bit larger DP in several years and giving the KLX to my loving wife. I love the bike and am having a blast with it so I see no need to ever get rid of it, just keep her in the family as another toy.

I didn't know we were suppose to give them back.

I'm with jeeppham - I'll probably keep it til is dies ... or it cost more to fix than a new one.
