Default How did you get your head out?

I must have spend over 45 minutes trying to get my head out of the bike for the 351. Now I have no idea how I'm going to get it back in without screwing something up. No matter what I did, I just couldn't get it out from inside of the frame. Then bamm, it came out and I don't know how I did it.

Just take your time, and make sure you have all cables and wires pulled up out of the way. They tend to hang up on edges that you don't notice and cause the difficulties you mention.

Oh, and it's OK if it takes you 3 hours to tear it down. It's not a race. As long as you are being careful and meticulous, that's what counts. Be just as patient on reassembly, too. When it fires up and runs correctly, it will be worth the effort!

Some have removed a radiator for extra room and to reduce chance of poking a hole in it.

Take the three bolts out that hold the fan onto the radiator. I used a small bungee to hold the fan up and out of the way. With the fan moved it was much easier.
