My buddy did the IronButt on his harley and said he would never ever do it again,he did another run with a group of riders from Houlton,ME.(the end of U.S. RT1) to key west FLA.(the start of RT1).He says his 60 yr old **** can't do them anymore.

 

Haha! Yeah, the fella that just did this was in his early fifties and hasvowed to never do it again. After doing half that distance on theKLX,I'm fairly sure I could have gone the entire distance, butwhy?It's really not very enjoyable..it'sjust a race against time and a battle against fatigue. Kinda miserable really. I guess he can tell the story to his grand children,but there's not much to tell.
