Patrick said he has like 6-8 filters, no toil? maybe cant remember which brand he said it was, he said they were only like 9$ and he changed his filter after every ride and cleaned another one and let dry, so im assuming he had one at each stage of cleaning almost all the time.... but he rode alot and some crappy dusty stuff.... i have the uni too....

I bought a couple pre-oiled twin-air so with my stock one, I've got three that I rotate.
The 130 appears to have helped although I can't be for sure due to the weather today. I went for a 15 minute road ride and had a sweet tail wind halfway there and a killer headwind on the way back. In either direction I didn't notice any surging and it had good pull all the way through. It was very smooth running it up to 9000+ in the lower gears. With the stock gearing 5th and 6th didn't want to stretch out too far, it is a 250 afterall (for now
).
In the dirt there was marked improvement in the pull in the lower gears. I was able to break the new AC-10 loose coming out of the corners and when I did overcook it and come in sideways sliding both tires a quick slip of the clutch and it tore outta there with authority. Time for lunch and then I'm off again for another ride, too nice out to waste it in here on the forums. Well at least until this afternoon when heavy rain is forecast.

Ran good with the 130 today. Seemed to pull nicely......that is until I was about a quarter mile from home. Got on it coming away from the stop sign and just as I hit third, WOT, it started sputtering and coughing. Backed out of the throttle and took it easy the rest of the way to the house and all was fine. I was at 55 miles of a mix of pavement and trails, and gravel roads and the gas was quite low in the tank but I don't think it was low enough to need reserve.......although I have hit reserve at 55 miles before so I won't hold it against the jetting as it ran hard all day.
yes definatley check your plug.....I'm also running my pilot screw out 3.5 turns and it hasn't been checked since i did my changes....2 more weeks with my cast on the left leg.
