Default Hey you Moto-Pro Spring guys

I ordered some .42s, some springs came, & I installed them. I read the invoice & it says .40! Damn it!

Im going to call them but dont want to hear "we sent you the right ones, they were just listed wrong on the invoice." So I need some proof to what I have. Did anyone measure the coil diameter with a set of calipers before installing .40 or .42s? I did, & if I can compare I can know what I have for sure.

The part number on your invoice would be helpful also....

Called John, sounds like I got the right springs as the part number matches the .42 & just the description is wrong. Also when I ordered the .42 he said it was his last set in stock & he is out of stock now. He said each spring is engraved with the rate so I may pop the caps off & look to be sure but sounds like tragedy avoided

Good to hear. I've been looking all morning for my invoice so I could help you.
Oh well, got to clean out some of my files.

When I ordered my springs from John they came in a box that had the label blacked out and I wondered if I had the right ones as well. I installed them and it made an amazing difference so I figured they were correct(.46 rate). I just ordered the rear spring on Monday and it should be here by Friday. I have a 66 mile enduro to do on Sunday and am looking forward to how this will help. I am 210 pounds so I have been really pushing the limits on the 250.

Pulled a spring tonight & sure enough, there is the "42" hand engraved on the spring just like John said. [sm=smiley20.gif]Moto-Pro
