Default Heated Insoles

Got my heated insoles today!
Rolled the bike into the warehouse and ripped off the side cover, added the wiring harness, then patiently waited for the day to be over so I could try them out.
Once I was all ready to ride, I plugged in. Before I was even rolling I could feel the heat.
This morning it was 10º F and my feet were close to the limit by the time I'd ridden the 25 miles to work.
This evening it was only 20º F and I had to unplug before I was halfway home!
Definitely need to add a switch or controller to regulate the heat.
Best addition to my riding gear yet(at least for cold weather).
Still waiting for my battery powered heated gloves to come back into stock. I added some plastic gallon jugs over my barkbusters for the time being, it helps but is fugly.
Eventually I'll add a heated jacket liner, but I haven't needed it yet.
I needed the insoles...my boots are steel toed and turn into a cold sink...not anymore!

Nice to have warm feet.
I'll be interested to hear your report of the heated gloves, I have poor circulation in my hands and that's the only part of my body I can't see to keep warm on the little bit of riding I've been doing so far. I don't mind the cold so much, but when my hands get cold they go numb too, and when that happens my grip gets weak.
I asked the old guy I bought my bike from why he was selling it, he said he wasn't able ride it because his hands would cramp up after even short rides.

Can I ask why you decided to go with battery powered gloves instead of the plug in ones?

A guy at work rides all year , as long as there is no ice/snow on the road. He has his "hippo hands" on the bike now. Look like they would do a great job. Hippo Hands

Mucky, I've decided on battery powered jacket and gloves so I could go snowboarding and turn on the heat for the long lift rides in sub-zero temps.
Currently using Aerostitch Triple Digit over mitts over warm gloves, not good enough.

Thanks dan888, been trying to find something like that. Have something similar I got as a sample from work for my mtn bike, and those work great(but I'm not going 60mph). I will add those onto the bike. More is better and they'll help protect against the salt getting to the control cables.
