I think they pretty much mean 20hrs of RACE use, but hey, you're practiced now and repack it in no time next time around.

I did the BG on my KLR650 twice. It is a major pain to get the last two inches of PACKING and CORE into the PIPE ;-) Just keep working it and use a strong stick to work the material in.

Running this thing on the street, how long do you go between repacks?

 

how much difference is the sound now that it has fresh new packing in it?

 

I would have to say less hollow, ummm like screaming in a padded room versus screaming in an empy hall. Same db but throatier or cleaner like bap, bap, bap. bap, not blap, blap, blap

That is the only way I can describe it..
