No kidding. I have not even dropped the KLX. I figure the bike is just testing me to make sure I am a suitable owner.

I rode the versys and I like it too. It was kinda like a tall sport bike. The example I road was a 2008 and they did have a bit of an issue with cowling vibration and that one had it. The motor is really fun with great torque.

They are kinda funny looking but I like the look at least as much as the Strom which is Loooooong.

I am happy to have an ABS bike for my 3 season commuter and the price was pretty good. I suspect the Versys will have it now the Ninja does.

Here is a picture of the new Strom. I am have just started to get it all situated to my needs. The windshield works great but my wife says it looks like a Police motorcycle with it.

Skid plate, and center stand coming. Crash bars and some other little things too.

I figured out the ABS problem and that will be fixed asap. It cleaned up nice

Looks nice. The farkles you described are a great addition. I tried a new one and though it's very capable I chose the Versys. Here is a pic of a V Strom I rode with recently, he finds it to be just what he needs.

Enjoy!

I love the Versys, test rode a 2009 and a 2012, however I saw a 650 Ninja today with a Black and Green paint-scheme and it looked awesome. I'll see if I can find a picture.

Found it!

Now that's pretty!

I think the Wee is going to be perfect for a commuter. I don't think it is as exciting as the Versys actually. Its long and low and very comfy. Its as close to a goldwing as I will get . I have to say that price was a factor too. It is about as cheap as I could go and get ABS. I could have gotten a new CBR250r ABS for about the same but I would not have been happy with that. I wanted to pay cash too and this was my top right now with the KLX and the Ninja in my garage.

I for sure will have a play bike too. I do like the Triumph Bonnie so maybe next season.
