ok
where can I find that sprocket

and you think the stock chain will have enough slack for that larger sprocket
only like 1000 miles on the bike so the chain is still pretty new
havent even looked yet how much slack I have

It doesn't take much of an adjustment to fit the 15T. Do you have room to adjust the rear wheel forward right now to get a little slack for the 15T.

I looked on rocky mountain atv under my bike and 2012 year but all I saw was 13t and 14t front sprockets

any other good places for a 15t

or should I select a different bike and year?

found this site
has a 15t but for a klx 250 07-09
not my s model or my year
will this year and make work on my bike?

As far as everyone knows all that has changed on the 250S since '09 is the colours of the plastics. The '09 & up 15 tooth at ProCycle should be what you want. Email info@procycle.us and ask.

The 15s are out there. Mine was a:
Sunstar 3B115 520-15T (indonesia)
per my notes.

from my little local dirt bike shop. Those guys rock. $25.44.

The 13T was a PBI, and the 45 and 49 rear were JT. They had to look a little bit to find the Sunstar 15T and offered their apologies for the high price.

the one on the site only lists a 250
which im guessing is the dirt bike model

I already know about the slight changes with the older s models like something to do with the engine vent line I think

but I was wondering then if the dirt bike only model uses the same sprocket
you would think so but then my luck I order it and find out its different

got in the 15t today
works good

before on stock at freeway speed I was 7800 rpm reading 75mph
now at 75 mph im at 7000

if I go to 7800rpm my speed is now 80
so looks like ive gained 5 mph at least freeway speeds

but all I wanted was lower rpm which is what I got, so im happy now
I think that may help with mpg too
