Fun in the snow video
A "blizzard" descended on North Carolina this weekend so I headed to the farm to take care of Mom in case the power or heat went off. I managed to get the KLX started thanks to a recent new battery and decided to see what she could do in about 6" to 8" inches of snow with stock tires....not much other than slip and slide!...just couldn't get the rear tire to hook up in a predictable manner to allow big controlled power slides. Without good traction and no riding buddy I decided to stay off the woods trails.
Here's a link to a short video I did manage to make while doing donuts and throwing rooster tails...

I actually live in Raleigh, not too far from Nobrakes. I keep the two KLX's at our family farm in Snow Camp (how's that for irony?) which is about an hour west of Raleigh and a few miles south of Graham & Burlington. That's where I get most of my riding time in. We have a few hundred acres with nice big pastures and wooded trails. Love to have some company some weekend.
