You gas it up the side of the trail and the bike rocks backward but not quite enough to the get the rear to pull up the other side of the trail to get turned around. You rock forward with the gas and roll backwards by gravity. You do this a few times thinking it's finally going to work until you wise up, get off, and just manhandle the bike around to go back the other way. I like it when it's decently uphill on both sides of that narrow trail, and you stall the bike right about the time that the bike is almost completely 90 degrees in the trail, and your feet have no hope of touching the ground. A scene from Laugh-In occurs. Yes, reverse would be nice sometimes.

Could you imagine what stunters would do with reverse? haha.

Mine hits reserve at 154, runs dry at 164. 13T sprocket, FMF exhaust, Dynojet kit installed. That's about 54MPG. That's a mixture of street/dirt riding.

And there is no "secret reserve" in these tanks.

How do you get that good of gas mileage? I rarely get better than 45mpg. Usually closer to 40, but has been as low as 20.

Even with a 300 cylinder, full Muzzy exhaust, all airbox mods, and a 36mm pumper carb, hard off road can drop my mileage into the low 40's and as high as low 60's on pavement and easy dirt roads...with 13/47 gearing. I had a couple of open class enduro race bikes that wouldn't drop out of the 20's during full blown competition events. Are you sure there's not a hole in your tank?...LOL!

I had a similar issue, check your warm up procedure, jetting for elevation, and idle screw.

Yes, that's really bad mileage. Mine got 70 before mods, but no power. Check your carb adjustments/jetting.
