A guy has to have priorities............and funny monkey videos are hard to top. Piles of ca$h might be a close second but those monkey are just so dang funny... Did you see them all crack up when the bartender monkey gave the punch line? That was hilarious. LOL

And speaking of higher priorities, I think the KLX fork seal repair just got kicked off the top of my list. Blazer's radiator just sprung a leak and the water pump isn't far off too. So I might be pulling a double repair weekend.

Pffft!...Lear, I can't imagine why you'd have any cooling system issues this summer where you live.

just a tip i picked up a long time ago when you are putting your seals in take some bearing grease and lube the sealing edge of the seal and if you use neo. savers pack a little grease in them to trap all the crap

rofl, The heat might have helped it along. But I think age played more of a role on it (1996 Blazer, 168k miles). I might actually do the repair tonight so I have the weekend to enjoy doing the forks.

I busted my hands turning all those wrenches, but it was worth it. Blazer's coolant system is fixed and I just got done doing the fork seal on the KLX this morning. I've added the seal saver socks to the forks and did the UFO fork guard plastic mod. Once my hands stop thrubbing, I may take the KLX out to get a little dirty.

Did you use the Seal Saver brand for inverted forks?

Yup. The nice long one too. They cover the full length of travel on the forks. Made sure the seals were tight and not leaking before I installed them.
