Last Friday, I busted on right fork guard. :-/ Would like to buy a new black fork guards. I have see some out there but dont find that fit 06 KLX 250s. Where can I find one?

 

You could see if the 09 or 10 fork guards will fit. The 09 guards for the SM come in black and the new 2010 guards are black. I'm just not sure if there were changes in the guards from 06 to 09.

 

I check 2010 and look will fit the 06. The bottom of fork guard have 3 bolts same as 06.. I would like to make sure if will fit before I order it.

 

If you have a Kawi dealer near you that has a 2010 model in stock you could take your 06 guard in and compare it to the 10 before ordering it.

 

Check my klx discovery that left fork guard have only 2 bolts and right have 3 bolts.

 

If those two bolt holes you have in the 06 line up with two of the three in the 10 then it should work. Third hole may not be required.

 

Did you try a search here on KF? A lot of good info on here. I believe when I ordered the guards shown in my thread, ( https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=31419 ) there was an option to get black ones . If not the UFO's look at other brands, somebody offered them for the 94 KX 125/250 and they are easy to modify for our KLXs.

I GIVE UP look for good deal on klx stock front guard. Stock are not that cheap to get one and the quality of stock white front guard...Nah not worth to get it! I look back to those topic again.

find like as your...UFO front guard.. Can I find parts to get right order for me to a black fork guards??? I hate to repainting on white fork guard!

 

many in Japan use KX250/125 guards, shouldn't be too hard to find on Ebay

 

UFO 96-03 KX 125-250-500 available in black, or natural. They also come with the guides.
