Default Forced Plate Mod & Garage Pics

While out changing my oil I noticed my license plate just didn't look right.Upon closer inspection the mounting holes were ripped through. I'm guessing that the tire caught the plate and ripped it, or it acting as a mud flap and being continuously pelted with roost did it. I looked at several possible ways of mounting it but couldn't see any quick/easy way to use the clean lower mounting holes.

Here's a couple pics of the damage:

Here's a shot of the repair. I ended up drilling 2 new holes in the plate to mount it up higher and hopefully out of harms way. I realllly hope that thats not illegal to mount it this way, but I'll be dammed if I'm going to buy a new platebecause these things are thinner than a paper plate.

And here's a couple random shots in the garage, first up is the modified turn down on the KLX300 exhaust.

And some shots of the "evil" bike, and a group shot or 2.

And no neither of them leak, the stain is from when I changed the oil in the quad, 0-40 synthetic aparently stains concrete. It came out with a bit more pressure than I expected and I missed the pan[:@]

The V-4 is my dad's, I've taken it out a few times but its a ticket waiting to happen. Will hit the speed limit in first, second will break 75, third through 6th I'm just hangin' on! I gave up at 115mph, just not the right area to open up a bike like that, haven't ridden it since.

The v45's and v65's were a fast bike in their day as was the v-max,to me they are still faster than I would rather go and the sport bikes of today are even faster. Whats next for the bike world

I made a plate holder out of stainless steel to clean the rear end up a little,
but one day i landed a jump hard and the holder hit the tire ,the bracket was fine but it smashed the fender,
and the frame broke in two pieces, that's why i went to the mx style rear fender.

I also made a simple plate holder. I hated that stupid black eyesore under the fender from day 1. Looks way better now
