RE: FMF Video
From your ride video I'd say that yes you would benefit from a few mods. It sounds like it revved kinda slow is compared to some other KLX's with the mods. Drilling the slide vent will increase your throttle response somewhat. Removing the snorkel with make a HUGE difference in how hard it pulls, provided you match your jets to the increased air flow. This weekend I was playing with the KDX high flow snorkel vs no snorkel and there is a significant difference in how the bike pulls. I don't have the numbers handy but I did figure out the flow area of the stock snorkel, vs KDX, vs stock + KDX, vs no snorkel and it turns out that no snorkel at all has a larger flow area than running the 2 snorkels combined. I'm not sure of your elevation but I'd be leary of running it too long without going up at least on the main jet to a 122 or 125, but that depends on your elevation and what you do with the airbox if anything.
By the way.........thanks for donating your bike and a week of ride time to FMF to get this system built, a big thumbs up to you!

RE: FMF Video
Im sure it could benifit from some jetting changes and the removal of the snorkle. One thing that I did do was send J&D jetting a note regarding a jet kit for the bike since they were mentioned in the project pike for Dirt Bike TV, however the responce from them was that they only made reccomendations for the jetting and did not jet the bike themself.
I also notice here that not many folk run the K&N air filter on their bikes, any clue why?

RE: FMF Video
The K&N filter has reportedly large openings, hence its high flow. If you ride in groups where it gets dusty, you don't want a filter with large pores as it will allow dirt into the engine.
