I have just recently gotten a KLX250S, I have broken it in to a 650 miles it is still very sluggish. I took off the snorkel and the bike opened up alot. So now I am getting a K and N air filter and a FMF tail and alot more mods for it. The question I have is does anyone know if the FMF Q2 pipe fit the 2006 KLX, they said it fit 2004 klx. I would buy the Muzzy but I dont want the full exhaust. FMF pipe this is the link just in case u were interested

 

I tried that pipe tied to the four stroke works head pipe. Didn't fit. Wrong lenghts and pipe diameters.

 

I really hope that you rejetted after you took off that snorkel. More then likley you will be running REALLY LEAN, which is not very good for your bike. I took the snorkel off too when I rejetted because I didn't have the KDX snorkel yet, man that thing sounded awful, "Bwaaaggg", didn't like that sound at all. I would highly recommend a KDX snorkel.
