Listen to Westie, get stuck in, take pictures of how it comes apart if it makes you feel more confident. You will soon be able to tear your bike down like a pro!! You will enjoy your bike way more as well!! Just give yourself lots of time.

not much else to be said here. either you do it or you don't. if you can follow directions, you won't have a problem. like west said, the hardest part is getting the carb out itself; but that is not that bad if you are just gentle and don't force anything. the throttle cables can be a bitch, but once you figure them out they're cake.

If I can de-smog and rejet, it can't be too hard.

The hardest part for me really was getting the carb out of the frame. After that, I had a couple of minor goofs that were easily corrected and had a motorcycle that ran much better.

If you're worried about noise, get the dealer to throw in a quiet tip as a deal clincher. I wouldn't pay for one though. I think the P3 is the go to keep the spark arrestor.

Default bad experience with fmf. 09 klx250s

i just purchased a fmf q4 and power ? header and it not only doesnt fit well the lead in pipe for the muffler melted a hole in my airbox. before starting, after waiting 24 hours for hi temp silicon to set, it looked too close to airbox and had to bend passenger foot guard for clearance. I checked with cycle city to verify it was the correct pipe. Upon initial warmup it melted a small hole near inside of pipe, still no response from fmf has anybody had similar problems with fmf

I have the powerbomb/2bros. setup and it went together well. Are the 09's different? It seems to be the 09's that have the trouble........wierd
