In the last analysis, if you are unable to deal with: possible vacuum leaks, fuel delivery issues, detailed carb internals inspection/troubleshooting, idle speed adjustments,
you may not have the skills needed to get your bike operating correctly on a timely basis..

Messed with it some more today and took a video. Please see/ listen attached.

Watch "Klx 250 idle" on YouTube

I did spray some carb cleaner around the boots on both carb ends and there could have possibly been a small leak at the rear boot on the left side where I had to do a good bit of manipulating last time I took it out. Also thanks for your assessment but I plan to keep screwing with things =)

It lingers on deceleration. Also I haven't ridden it yet because its 36 degrees in ohio but the bike was definitely warm enough that the cooling system kicked on. I made it allot better today. Would most people find this satisfactory?

I have an efi.. but it seems fine enough. don't worry about it too much before you can ride it.

If everyone's happy with this can I go ahead and add some mods?

Normal. May be intrinsic to the CV carb.

You're the only one who needs to be happy with your bike!
IMHO, I'd ride it for a while first before modding. But to each his own!

So the fmf is considered quiet? I was about to ask what the quietest option is that still gains performance.. Dont rly want my neighbors to know every time I take off from a stop. I'd rather have a klx300 system but I cant find one worth buying for the price.

FMF makes two options. Look on their website.
The Q4 is quieter than the Powercore 4, and is probably the quietest aftermarket muffler available. Both flow better than stock.
