I really didn't think that you would notice that!

But, Yes I did. I didn't have any 1/8" smooth scrap so I used diamond plate and removed the diamonds.
You guys don't miss a trick!!!

 

you should have made it out of all diamond plate... that would be sweet!!!!

Nice job. From the looks of the welding and the shop I assume you work In the crafts.

 

Very nice work. The first time I took my bike into the woods I tore a radiator hose, so I went with the Utah skid plate for about 60 bucks if I remember right. I like the protection it gives the hosed and pump as well as the mag cover. By the way , those are some nice looking beads...it truly is a talent to be able to weld aluminum like that.

Top shelf stuff all the way - the welds look great!

I like the direct bolted mount job - I never cared for the frame clamps many use.

Now make one for my KTM.
