Default FI light with PCV?!

I would need some help with FI light.

I installed LeoVince slip-on and PCV to my KLX250S. Today I got first ride with that setup and noticed that FI light is on all the time. I tried to take ground of from battery to reset that but it didn't help.

Wide band AFR "gave me licence to drive home" so I knew I wouldn't break engine. But I presume it souldn't be that way or what?

Do you have any idea what to do?!

Tomi

PS: Now while writing this down I remembered that I also removed PAIR (or what is that air valve behind radiator) and there was electrical connection which is now disconnected. Do I need to leave that valve there to kill that FI light?!

This question should be posted on this thread:

Hi TomiKoo,

Never disconnect anything electrical, as this will light up the FI light.

Bill blue sells a plate that fits onto the head that covers up the reed valve from the PAIR. i didn't have access to a blocking plate, so I just put a big blob of silastic silicon sealant in the last rubber pipe to the engine...shown below.

You will need to take out the secondary throttle butterfly (sub throttle) out of your throttle body for best results......not completely necessary but helps performance. But again leave the secondary throttle servo plugged in, even though it's doing nothing or the red FI will come on again!

Another tip is to calibrate the TPS properly every time you play with the PCV or Autotune, only takes a second.

I made and installed aluminium plate by my self so that's ok.

Good tips, thanks!

Tomi

PS: Has anyone tried to measure resistanse of that coil in PAIR? Maybe I try that today...
