exhausts
back to the exhaust question...+2 on a slip-on or 300 mufflet. I have the HMF slip-on and despite the mounting issues it has an excellent tone and performance for the dollar. The 300 is a good choice as well, you will also need the 300 header as it will not bolt up to the 250s header (different diameters). If I knew then what i knew now...I would probably gone with the 300 header and silencer, not bought the extended warranty and used that money instead for the 300 big bore upgrade (great bang for the buck, you can research it on this forum and the parts are listed on the common parts thread). Good luck with the bike.
I was riding single track in the desert with a group of friends when an atv came out of nowhere and straight at me. I barely had a half-second to react - I was probably pushing about 50 mph when I took the bike down to avoid the collision. I then skidded about 100 feet down a hill with the bike tumbling off to my left. I rolled into a bunch of sage brush which stopped me. Tore my mx shirt and pants up, broke a couple of buckles on my boots but the armor and helmet worked liked a charm. The atv rider never stopped! Everyone including KawiKathy said the crash looked pretty cool, but hey, I've always been good at falling down!
