Excel supermoto wheelset /w tires f/s
Hey, I'd rather these wheels go to a member here before some mook on Craigslist, so here it goes:
Up for sale is my authentic Excel supermoto wheelset. I'm a jobless college student so they need to go! I purchased the wheelset brand new from Procycle online back in January 2010 for $1300 +shipping; they laced and trued the wheels before shipping them to me. They are in great shape with no damage or scratches. The tires were installed and balanced professionally at a local Suzuki dealer. The wheelset does not come with the rear sprocket and brake discs. I'm not sure if the hubs will work with '08+ KLX250S', so make sure to check with the dealership.
- Silver rims and spokes
- '06-'07 OEM Kawasaki KLX250S hubs
- Bridgestone supermoto tubes
- Continental Contiforce Supermoto tires (DOT approved) - front: 120/70/17 , rear: 150/60/17. 75% tread on both tires with no tears, cracks, holes, or bald patches
If interested, e-mail me at brianpech@gmail.com . Price is negotiable within reason; no lowballers! Local pick-up preferred unless you want to send me the money first and pay the shipping fees. I'll make sure to clean them up really good before selling them. $600 obo.

Westminster, CA 92683. SoCal. I'd be willing to ship them if you pay the fees. We can also talk on the phone about them if you're seriously interested. They will bolt straight onto your father's bike; all he needs to do is transfer the brake discs and rear sprocket and air them up to 32psi for the road.

Gads, I wish I had a 250... these are a steal at $600 if the tires are still good. I'm doing wheels on the cheap for my 650, here's the total I will have:
$230 for the rear rim and hub set (rear rim goes to front and is actually narrow)
$180 for two spoke sets (rear spokes were junk)
$30 redrill rear rim to suit front hub.
$200 for the new Bridgestone BT003 RS
$115 for a 4.25 rear rim (narrow, but suits the set up for the KLX)
total is $825 and I am having to lace up the wheels. But I do have the rotors and the cush hub rear drive, which makes for a roll in set of wheels that I want so I still have the dual sport set up.
Six is a steal!
