Got my KLX300 wheelset from GreenKLX today, the wheels look beefier than the ones on the KLX. I don't know if it the model year difference but the bead area seems thicker on these ones. The came with 2 rim locks, I'm going to order 2 more to balance out the wheels somewhat, tubes, rear sprocket bolts, and a new chain and I'll be golden! No pics as its cold enough out that my fingers weren't cooperating just digging into the boxes!

Ok here's the pics. I spent 2 hours scrubbing the 18" and its nowhere near new condition but its good enough for what I'm using it for, which is dirt only. The front wasn't as dirty but the spokes are still kinda grody. While going through them the bearings seem questionable so I'll be replacing those as well. Each wheel came with 1 rim lock, should I order a second one for each or will it be a problem running a single one in the dirt, and pavement only to connect the dirt?











WD-40 and steel wool worked wonders on cleaning the crud off the spokes. Soapy water and a scrub brush wouldn't touch it. I'll also have to go through and check the spokes, I found a few loose ones on the rear rim, haven't gone through the front yet. They came with rotors and a near new 50 tooth sprocket, I took them off the rear wheel so I could get at the spokes better.
