Default Ever run 15/39 with 351BB?

Running 14/39 right now - low end seems fine. Would bumping the front sprocket up to 15t take away too much low end?

That's (15x39) what I have right now. Had it before the bb351 install and thought it was fine on the street. 351 has way more torque so I am looking to drop rpm somehow. Plan to start with a 130/80-17 rear tire and then if need be source a 36 or 37T rear sprocket. I would like to see 6500rpm at 70-75 mph.

I may give it a go and see.

Best way to get the CS sprocket off? Impact wrench? with brake on and/or sitting on the bike?

I just lay over right side of bike with right foot on brake. Pulling up with a long bar gets it done.

15/39 on a S model is 72 indicated @ 6500rpm I use this gearing for street cruises only.
