Hi guys. Im going to be getting the Edge 2 tail light kit for my KLX250 and im also going to get the DRC LED Indicators.

Im a bit confused because it says in the description 'Use the DRC Moto LEDs IC relay or resistor for accurate function of lights- click here to buy!'

Do i need this relay for the indicators and edge 2 tail light to work right ? Sorry but im all new to this and i cant find any more info on it.

The price of the new tail light and indicators seems to keep rising haha.

I went with the oxford mini led indicators, no resistors needed. I just clipped off the odd indicators and soldered the new led's in.

I could get a pic if that helps at all.

For your indicators to flash correctly you will need an electronic flasher/relay, it doesn't have to be THAT one but you will require one of some sort...... my local stealer had exactly what I needed with the correct plug already installed.

 

They'll work, its just that they'll flash fast... I never bothered with the relays on mine.
