Default DynoJet

Hey everyone,

I ordered a DynoJet kit for my klx and it just showed up today. The instructions say US models only. My bike was bought here in Canada. Is it a US model or is there a difference at all? My car, for example, was made in Japan for both US and Canadian markets but each country had a few tweaks to make them different.

Just want to be sure before I proceed.

Cheers,

Sarah

There shouldn't be any operational differences in the Canadian and U.S. models. Dynojet probably has to make that statement for legal reasons ranging from other jurisdictional issues about emissions to whatever. I've noticed more differences, albeit relatively subtle, when you look at the older Australian KLX's, but even then most all the mods and tweaks work fairly equally across the board.

In the service manual there are sometimes differing specs for the Aussi bikes; the US & Canada bikes share the same specs.
