dual-sport helmets

I won't buy a helmet for any price, unless they offer replacement parts (visor screws, cheek pads, liners, etc.)
I'm still using a Zeus helmet I bought about 8 years ago when I started getting back into snowmobiling. Zeus helmets were big in the Northeast for several years. They later pulled their line from the US market. I'm not sure why... maybe because they were selling a high-quality helmet at dirt-cheap prices.
I can still buy snow and street visors for it, as well as hardware and cheek pads. I change the cheek pads every couple years, and rotate them depending on the season. I run "large" pads in the winter to leave extra room for my balaclava, and "medium" pads in the summer for a tighter fit on my bike.
I bought a nice One Industries MX helmet last summer for off-road riding. I made sure that I could get replacement liners for it before I bought it. For me, that's a non-negotiable in a helmet. You HAVE to be able to get replacement parts for it, or I won't buy it.

Just received hi viz afx for my birthday. I painted the visor black so it mimics tbe hi viz xd4.
It fits well and can't wait to try it on an upcoming 3day weekend trip.

I saw this on the sales rack at the dealers. Perty ugly,
but when I tried it on it fit like a glove, then I started
to appreciate the intricacies of the black and white pattern.
The price was very good and the fit perfect. I use a quick
release strap for the goggles which make them easy to use.
I'm happy and Malcom Smith Racing-MSR- makes a quality
product.

It's doesn't have a built on visor, but for the price and overall quality I am very pleased with the HJC CL-X6. great airflow for the hot climate I live in, fits snug as a bug, and looks pretty bad *** with a pair of nice googles. My road helmet was a shoei so I wanted something more affordable for offroad use (since its going to get beatup). And so far, this thing has held up like a champ.
