Richard, you might list you bike and mods to date on your signature line. I can't remember
what you've got. The lighter flywheel should steepen your power delivery. e.g. max torque is reached sooner when you nail wot from a low rpm. And if max trq is reached quickly enough, the front tire comes off the ground in the process..yee haa.

OPPS! If I would of read all of the post after your first one I would of noticed you were already walking down this path????
The picture does look pretty???
Now that I got your attention! If the hole are not to big you can add these to help keep some of the stuff you do not want in the air box.
They are cheap and click link below for where you can buy them.

I took a look into my 12" x 4" muffler last night to see why the bike's been so LOUD lately-and everything's GONE
No packing, no perforated screen...it didn't fall out, it's just disintegrated ..great..I'm thinking that's why it's been running so well and taking richer jetting etc because of the megaphone effect of the empty can and the shorter overall exhaust length
So a few minutes ago I swapped the almost new identical muffler off my XR200 onto the Kaw and went for a ride
WOW more torque now and no rejet seems necessary! Lucky me I thought sure I'd have to back up on either the richer needle position or the main jet..go through all that testing again, but it pulls harder now than with the blown out muffler on it
