Default DP brake pads

Just fitted these DP brake pads. They are metal sintered off-road pads, which are cheaper than oem stock items. Not broken-in yet but initial feeling on the pads are:

Rear - Very impressed with the rear pads (pro-mx) series, not even run-in & way better than oem. Good bite, good feel & no fade. 9 out of 10.

Front - so far are just ok, not better than oem but with only 20 miles on them I hope they will develop some more bite. I could only find standard sintered DP for the front as they didn't have the pro-mx pads in stock! 7 out of 10.

These pads come in DP standard, DP pro-mx & DP racing HH+.

I will update this thread in about 100+ miles when fully broken-in.

Has anyone tried Galfer pads?

The pads are pretty much bedded-in & i'm happy with both.

Still Very impressed with the rear pads DP(pro-mx) series.

The front pads which are DP(standard), kinda impressed with them BUT they are at least as good as the stock kawa pads but not better IMO. I was hoping for more bite, which I recon the pro-mx would deliver......i'm annoyed I didn't search harder for the pro-mx pads for the front.....oh well, maybe nextime.

Both pad types have very good feel & almost no brake fade & work well in the rain!

One downside with metal sintered pads is that they reduce disc life. Some metal sintered pads used on cars can be pretty savage as evidenced by black wheels.

Kawasaki Parts Warehouse in Michigan as an OEM front disc for $173. That would have me thinking twice about using sintered pads. I can get a pair of slotted premium rotors for my car for the same price!
