I have the 2009.

And I am about to order the 16009-1912 N1TC needle the 92031-1401 clip and the 92143-1667 collar.

Will these work on the 2009?
Anybody have a picture of the these?
Is the N1TC better than DJ or visa-versa or Same thing?
Is it even possible to buy only the DJ Needle, Collar and clip or do yuo need to buy the whole kit?

This time I'll drill the slide when I have it off too.

you have to buy the kit with the DJ. I've had two KLX 250S', my '06 got what you're about to order; the '09 got the DJ simply because it was available quicker to me. Both are pretty much the same thing; I personally can't tell any difference. Either one is good but the individual parts are cheaper if you know for sure what you need. For what you get for the money, the DJ kit is better because it offers more jet sizes. Also, I'd recommend the 300R kit if you buy the DJ kit. The '09 specific kit is a somewhat more tame setup with a less aggressively tapered needle. good choice on the BigGun though. Don't forget a good air filter.
