Difficult to start.
A 2010 bought in 2005? I think there was a typo. It helps if you go to the settings and at least list what country you live in. I know EFI was in Europe a few years before the U.S.
If you haven't tried it, drain any fuel and put in fresh fuel. Also consider trying some injector cleaner additive in the gasoline. Just some thoughts. For pressure and such you'll probably be better off spending the money at a dealer to have it checked out.

When a KLX sits for a while, the gasonine in the float bowl loses its volatile elements, and it will not start. Get a 3mm hex wrench and loosed the little screw and let a bunch of gasoline drain out, like a couple of ounces. Try it again. Make sure the gas in the tank is not too old also.

I've found that I just get crappy fuel right out of the pump, even though I spring for E-free for the carbed '09. It actually wouldn't run at all ~4 miles from fillup last week. Did the drain the float bowl trick and it was like new. Water in the fuel...again. I ordered a 10 pack of 3mm ball end (~$1) to keep around the bike and garage!
So far, what i understand, is that it needs some time until it can start again. Its like a kind of electric relay that needs to start first and then it can start. Any ideas about that?! So usually when i close the switch, open it again, wait a bit and then start, usually it starts. If im on traffic light and accidentaly turn off the motor and try to start it imideately, then it sucks!
So far not any progress!
have used an injection cleaner but still nothing.
The ****ing bike is so hard to start it makes me crazy. if i use it for everyday purposes, the battery empties after a week or so.

Does it burn oil? And how often are you changing the oil? Wonder if your rings are worn and lowered compression is the culprit.
