Oh sorry that's right I was supposed to give a report on the Kenda K270 tires. Well I have a couple hundred miles on them, and first of all I have to say that the front tire on loose stuffis100% better than the stock 603, but then again anything would be better. On trails they rock, on rocks they rock, loose stuff no problem. Now on the street they took a little getting use to, like I said before for a couple of days the steering seemed stiffer, and the bike wanted to straighten out on its own a little more without my help. But I think we have come to an understanding me and the new tires, and I'm taking corners with full confidence. I did however just realize today that I am still running the lower pressure from the Tahuya ride from a couple of weeks ago. I need to bump them back up a little since they are really a soft compound compared to the 606 especially. Over all I think they are great. I give them a thumbs up. [sm=smiley20.gif]

So what sizes did you end up going with? Stock or larger?
Thanks,
Dave

Deej, I know it might be to soon to tell but how do they compare to the Dunlop D606's?

Well, I really like the way they stick to the blacktop, and I really only have the Tahuya ride on trails and gravel to give me an idea, but so far I like them. Now that being said, I might actually go back to the 606 just because of the extra height. Or maybe I should just order the links to raise the bike.

all i buy is 270s now, they seem to be the longest lasting tire ive used and they are not expensive and they are very predictable in the dirt.

Feel solid on pavement? Don't make you question if you will become a guardrail ornament on turns at speed? These may be my solution...need something decent off road (better than stock on gravel for sure!) but also reasonable safe/predictable on pavement at 50mph.

Thanks for the report!

How are the K270's in the rain on the road?
Thanks,
