Default decals on Acerbis tank?

Does anyone with the Acerbis fuel tank plan on putting the KLX decals on it? I'm not sure whether they would work or not. A bigger tank is going to be on my future shopping list, but I like the way the bike looks with the shroud decals. I've seen them on different web sites and they are rather expensive..around $65.00 EACH SIDE.

Thanks for the info. I may go with the IMS tank, but it sounds like it's more of a pain to install. I'll be sure to pass on info if I hear of a way to put decals on the Acerbis.

Very unlikely. Fuel vapor weeps through these plastic tanks (a very small amount) but enough to dislodge any stickers over time.

Yeah you're right. I think I vaguely remember BMW having a recall on the original R1100GS with the plastic tank where the decal just peeled off or something.
