Default Cut the seat

Finally had the guts to remove the vinyl and cut the seat foam. Took the electric knife and cut a big hunk of the old foam out and replaced it with a much softer foam. Glued it to the old foam with spray adhesive. Contoured with elec knife followed by wood rasp. Looks factory still and the wife likes it better. Much softer and compresses more so her feet can not fully touch the ground.

You're a big fat liar. You didn't mod the seat. Heck, you don't even have a KLX. Where's the pics?

Good thinking, as you have already posted about lowering and that is a good way to do it and not change much. I'm with TNC on this one as some pic's would be nice as I'm not real big and if the bike was any taller I'd have to fix it, as is, it's just scary in the real rough stuff. I've been in some off chamber stuff where I couldn't touch down if I had to without going down.

Wasn't much to take a picture of. I just cut a "U" shaped piece out where her *** sits, then glued softer foam to it. Then I shaped it back to the size it was and recovered it. The only problem was the staples. My gun doesn't have the ***** to bury a staple in the plastic.

"To high?" Just cut it! If you don't like it, you can glue the old piece back on and be back to stock again.

Speaking of pictures: How about a "post riding video" forum.

I thought about recovering once, and in the absence of a staple gun, it seemed like lots of carpet tacks would work.
